Slater & Gordon half-year results indicate £262m loss

Slater & Gordon has suffered a loss of A$425.1m, or £262.8M, during the first half of 2016/17. The firm attributes the loss to factors such as an acquisition of Quindell’s professional services group and underperformance in the UK and Australia. The decrease follows a period of growth during the previous year. According to managing director Andrew Grech, the firm is still in a transitional period that continues to affect financial performance.
