Debevoise records first PEP decrease in seven years
Debevoise & Plimpton saw profit per equity partner (PEP) fall in 2016, following a period of growth since 2009. Global revenue was $735m in 2016, decreasing from its previous record level of $756.9m in 2015. Revenue in the UK was £107m in 2016. Presiding partner Michael Blair said the firm worked with clients to adapt to events in the marketplace throughout 2016, setting the stage for a confident outlook toward the future.
