Norton Rose Fulbright appoints new management in Hong Kong and Singapore

Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has appointed three new managing partners to its Hong Kong and Singapore bases, in addition to a new head of Asia business strategy. Corporate partner Psyche Tai has been appointed managing director at the firm’s Hong Kong location, following the upcoming retirement of Philip John in August 2017. Banking and finance partner Yu-En Ong will take over as managing partner in Singapore, replacing Jeff Smith, who will take on a consulting role at the firm. Project finance partner Nick Merritt has been named head of Asia business strategy. Merritt is based in Singapore, and takes on the newly created role alongside his current position as global head of infrastructure, mining and commodities.
