DLA to become largest firm in Nordic region following LETT merger
DLA Piper is set to complete a merger with Danish firm LETT by the end of May 2017, bringing the firm new offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus. Following the merger, DLA will operate five offices with more than 370 lawyers in the Nordics, making it the largest firm in the region. LETT, which employs approximately 150 lawyers, focuses on corporate M&A, real estate, pensions and insurance, insolvency and restructuring, and public sector matters. The firm is ranked tier one in the Legal 500 for environment, dispute resolution, telecoms and insurance. DLA co-chief executive Simon Levine said the move will help the firm expand in the Nordics to better serve clients who do business in the region.
