The New York Observer has answered a burning political question that never occurred to us, at least until now: “If the major presidential candidates were top New York law firms, which ones would they be?”. Who would Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz? Cravath, Swaine & Moore? Sullivan & Cromwell? Latham & Watkins? Dewey & LeBoeuf? Skadden? Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison may be the closest match for Mrs. Clinton. “Like Hillary, Paul Weiss has a reputation for being a bit of a hard-ass,” said one lawyer at the firm. “But those who know her—and us—know we are ‘good people.’ Both a bit neurotic, but in a healthy way.”
