Financial reporting season starts with promising results

In the first UK financial reporting season since last summer’s Brexit vote, a number of firms have revealed positive results for 2016/17. Fladgate reported a 15 per cent increase in provisional turnover, which came in at £49.2m. Freeths also saw a double-digit increase in annual fee income, which rose 12.7 per cent to £72m. Turnover at Minister Law increased by 50 per cent to £55.8m following its acquisition by BHL (UK) Holdings last year.
