Littler enters UK market via merger with employment boutique

US firm Littler has opened up its first UK office following a tie-up with GQ Employment Law, an employment boutique. The boutique firm was founded by Jon Gilligan and Paul Quain in 2010, and currently houses 16 lawyers. Prior to founding GQ, Gilligan was an employment lawyer with the Royal Bank of Scotland, and Quain was a managing associate at Linklaters. Littler has expanded in Europe recently, having completed a merger with French boutique firm Fromont Briens in 2016.
