Irwin Mitchell hires former Pinsents real estate head

Irwin Mitchell has hired Adrian Barlow, who formerly served as real estate practice head at Pinsent Masons. Barlow qualified at Pinsents in 1989 and became a partner in 1994. He was group head of property at the firm until May 2016, when James Crookes took over the role. At Irwin Mitchell, Barlow will lead a commercial real estate team of more than 30 partners and 40 lawyers across eight offices within the UK. Vicky Brackett, chief executive of Irwin Mitchell’s business legal services division, said the hire reflects the firm’s growth strategy for the division.
