Freshfields appoints Georgia Dawson as new Asia managing partner

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has named Georgia Dawson as the firm’s new managing partner for the Asia region. She replaces Robert Ashworth, and will focus on expanding Freshfields’ business throughout Asia. Dawson currently works as a dispute resolution specialist in Hong Kong, and will split her time between Hong Kong and Singapore during her tenure as managing partner. She joined Freshfields in 2004 from Herbert Smith Freehills, and later became a partner at Freshfields in 2012.
