Chinese firm Fangda hires Zili Shao of KWM China

Zili Shao has been hired by Chinese firm Fangda Partners in a newly created non-executive chairman role, effective immediately. Shao previously served as co-chair at King & Wood Mallesons, and held prior positions at JP Morgan China and Linklaters. At Fangda, Shao will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and management programs to help the firm achieve its growth goals. Fangda management chair and founding partner Jonathan Zhou said Shou’s experience will bolster the firm’s expansion efforts.
