Baker McKenzie makes up 80 new partners globally
Baker McKenzie has promoted 80 new partners in the firm’s latest round, bringing the total of new partners to 139 for the year. The firm has nearly 1,600 partners across its global offices. This round’s promotions represent a number of practice areas, with dispute resolution and mergers & acquisitions representing the largest number of new partners. Baker McKenzie global chair Paul Rawlinson said the firm is currently focusing on London, New York and China as key regions. Meanwhile, the firm has elected Matthias Scholz as managing partner for the Germany and Austria region for a three-year term.
