Kennedys takes on 9 new partners in Manchester merger

Kennedys’ upcoming acquisition of Manchester-based firm Berg will see a nine-strong team of commercial litigation partners join the firm. The merger will go into effect on 1 September, at which point a total of 52 new staff members will join Kennedys’ Manchester office, which the firm has been looking to expand. Berg CEO Alison Loveday said the firm has specialized in offering solutions that go beyond typical litigation services. The merger structure will Berg’s team members to continue offering these services to clients within the Kennedys network.
