Norton Rose merger with Chadborne goes live

The merger between Norton Rose Fulbright and Chadbourne & Parke has gone live, after a delay from the intended launch date of 1 May. Following the merger, the combined firm includes more than 59 offices across 33 countries, and a total of more than 4,000 lawyers. The merger brings significant capabilities to the firm in New York, where Chadborne maintains a strong presence in projects and infrastructure. The combined firm will now stand among the 25 largest firms in New York. Peter Matyr, global chief executive at Norton Rose Fulbright, said the merger will expand the firm’s capabilities to better serve clients worldwide.
