Baker McKenzie hires former Linklaters COO Simon Thompson in London

Baker McKenzie has brought on Simon Thompson as the firm’s new chief operating officer (COO) in London. Thompson joins Baker McKenzie from Change Harbour, an independent legal management consulting company where he was a co-founder. Prior to the launch of Change Harbour in 2011, Thompson spent seven years at Linklaters, where he served as global chief operating officer. In his new role, Thompson will oversee London operations for Baker McKenzie, and will support strategic projects over the next several years. His term as COO will begin in August.
