Hogan Lovells hires Jonathan Baird from Freshfields
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer investment funds partner Jonathan Baird has left the firm’s corporate team to join Hogan Lovells. He will join the firm’s investment funds practice, which also brought on Adam Tope from Greenberg Traurig earlier this year. Baird initially joined Freshfields in 1994 as an associate, and left 5 years later to join Altheimer & Gray, where he would later become a partner. In 2003, he returned to Freshfields following the collapse of Altheimer. Nick Holman, investment funds co-head at Hogan Lovells, said the new hire will help bring the investment group to a new level.
