KWM EUME employees to receive six figure settlement for redundancies

Employees from the former King & Wood Mallesons EUME arm are expected to accept a settlement from the firm’s administrators in an offer that would affect approximately 200 former employees. The settlement would offer a total of nearly £800,000, amounting to a maximum of £479 per week per employee. The settlement would prevent the case from going to an employment tribunal, and would instead offer eight weeks’ pay to the former employees. The firm’s European operation collapsed earlier in 2017, at which time the firm anticipated that a full business sale would be completed.
