Simpson Millar names Greg Cox new MP

Simpson Millar has named dispute resolution head Greg Cox as its new managing partner. Millar is based in Manchester, and has been a partner with the firm since 2015. The firm’s previous managing partner, Peter Watson, left the position last year after having spent 20 years in the role. Meanwhile, the firm’s owner, Fairpoint Group, appointed administrators last week. Fairpoint acquired Simpson Millar in 2014 after securing £20m from Allied Irish Banks (AIB) for the acquisition.
