DLA Piper hires former Gibson Dunn and Kirkland partners

August 23, 2017 DLA Piper has made two new partner hires, bringing on Phil Crump and Doug Murning.

Crump previously served as a partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, and left his role at the firm in late 2016. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn in 2015, he worked at Kirkland & Ellis.

Murning joins DLA from a position as a partner in Kirkland’s Hong Kong office. At DLA, he will work in Asia and London as head of the firm’s London-based leveraged finance team.
