DWF names Nigel Knowles as new chairman
DWF has announced that former DLA Piper chair Nigel Knowles has joined the firm to take on a position as chairman. He replaces Alan Benzie, who held the role for more than 10 years at DWF.
Knowles spent 40 years at DLA Piper, having held various roles including CEO, chair and managing partner. He retired in 2016 after having led a number of expansion efforts that brought the firm to its current status as a global law firm.
In his position as chairman, Knowles will work closely with managing partner Andrew Leaitherland.
