San Francisco to become first US base for Bird & Bird

Bird & Bird is slated to open a San Francisco office, which will become the first US location for the firm. Partners Stefano Silvestri and Nick Aries will relocate to San Francisco from Europe for the launch. Silvestri currently serves as co-head of Bird & Bird’s international corporate group in Milan, while Aries works in the London office as an IP partner. According to CEO David Kerr, the new location will allow the firm to better serve US and international clients with cross-border matters.
