Simpson Thacher promotes 1 in City

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has announced its latest promotions round, which included 1 new partner in the firm’s London office from a global round of 11. The firm has promoted London-based Robert Lee, who was made up to partner in the firm’s funds practice. He has been with the firm since 2011, and previously worked at Travers Smith. Simpson Thacher’s other promotions came from offices in Los Angeles, Washington DC, Palo Alto, New York, and Beijing. This year’s promotions round did not include any lawyers in the firm’s Hong Kong, Houston, Sao Paulo, Seoul, or Tokyo offices.
