Ropes appoints Daniel Anderson as Hong Kong MP
Ropes & Gray has announced that Daniel Anderson has been named as the firm’s new managing partner in its Hong Kong office. Anderson currently serves as co-head of the firm’s special situations practice, and will take over the position from Paul Boltz, who departed from the firm in April. Boltz joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, leaving the position vacant at Ropes. Anderson has been with Ropes since 2012, and previously held positions at Citadel Investment Group, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and Davis Polk & Wardwell.
