Ashurst hires White & Case partner in Hong Kong

Restructuring partner Damien Whitehead has been hired by Ashurst in the firm’s Hong Kong finance practice. He joins from White & Case, where he served as head of the firm’s Asia financial restructuring and insolvency team. Whitehead previously worked at Herbert Smith Freehills, where he was head of restructuring and insolvency for Greater China. His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border matters, and advises clients such as corporate debtors, high-net-worth individuals, banks, insolvency practitioners and investment funds.
