Linklaters names new China head

Linklaters has named a new head of the firm’s China operations, as current head Fang Jian has stepped down from the role. The firm has announced that William Liu will take over the position, as well as holding a seat on the Asia executive committee. Liu currently serves as the firm’s capital markets head in Asia. Linklaters is reportedly gearing up for a new joint operation office to be a part of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, pending approval by regulators.
