Cooley opens new office in Beijing office

US firm Cooley has announced the opening of a new office in Beijing. The office is the firm’s second location in China, where the firm opened a Shanghai base in 2011. Cooley has brought on Xun Zeng to serve as resident partner at the office. Zeng, who joins from Ropes & Gray, will work in Cooley’s global venture capital practice. She focuses on matters involving venture capital, private equity, and co-investment funds.
