Orrick hires two private equity rising stars in London

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe continues to expand its private equity practice in London with the hire of two rising stars. James Connor joins the firm from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, while Daniel Wayte joins from Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. According to London office leader Kolvin Stone, the firm is prioritizing the growth of its private equity capabilities and expanding its London and European private equity practices accordingly. Anthony Riley, who is the firm’s Head of Corporate in London, said the hires represent the next step in the firm’s growth strategy in the region.
