HFW launches Abu Dhabi office with two former Reed Smith partners

HFW has announced the launch of a new office in Abu Dhabi, the firm’s fifth office in the region. The firm has hired two partners from Reed Smith who will join the Abu Dhabi office: Vince Gordon, who served as regional managing partner at Reed Smith, and Tania De Swart, a corporate partner. Upon launching the new office, HFW will have 19 partners and more than 50 lawyers across its Middle East offices. According to senior partner Richard Crump, the Abu Dhabi office will help the firm boost its capabilities in core sectors, such as shipping, construction, commodities, aerospace, energy, and insurance.
