Kirkland & Ellis promotes 122 to partner

Kirkland & Ellis has promoted a total of 122 lawyers to partner, a new record for the firm. The promotions include 10 new partners in the firm’s London office. The Chicago-based firm has a total of 2,200 lawyers, including 359 equity partners and 461 salaried partners as of the end of the 2016 financial year. In the past four years, the firm has made up a total of 390 new partners.
