Morgan Lewis names Motonori ‘Moto’ Araki new Tokyo head

Morgan Lewis & Bockius has hired two new corporate partners in the firm’s Tokyo office. Motonori ‘Moto’ Araki and Mitsuyoshi ‘Mitsu’ Saito both join the firm from Morrison & Foerster, with Araki returning to Morgan Lewis after leaving the firm in 2007. Araki has additionally been named as the firm’s new Tokyo managing partner. According to Morgan Lewis global corporate head Steve Browne, the new hires will help the firm boost its offerings in local and global capabilities in the region.
