Ashurst hires White & Case finance partner

Ashurst has hired Matthew Wood, a finance partner who joins the firm from White & Case. Wood spent 17 years at White & Case, where he trained in 2002. At Ashurst, Wood will oversee operations for the firm’s Africa-focused project finance team. He will be based in London. According to Ashurst Middle East managing partner Joss Dare, Wood’s expertise will boost the firm’s capabilities in its Africa and Middle East projects practice.
