Baker Botts hires Hogan Lovells Brussels managing partner

Baker Botts has brought on Matthew Levitt, who joins the firm from Hogan Lovells. Levitt spent nearly 17 years at Hogan Lovells, where he most recently served as the firm’s managing partner for its Brussels office. He specializes in contentious competition law in the EU and UK, as well as transactional and advisory matters. He has worked in sectors such as consumer products, oil and gas, ports, shipping, and industrial manufacturing. According to Baker Botts managing partner Andrew Baker, the move will boost the firm’s capabilities within its international antitrust practice.
