Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has announced its latest round of partner promotions. US-based Simpson Thacher has promoted a total of 11 partners worldwide, with 9 based in the US, one in London, and one in Hong Kong. Samuel Charlton, who has been with the firm for more than eight years, has been promoted in the firm’s real estate practice in London. Banking and credit lawyer Makiko Harunari has been promoted in Hong Kong. The remaining promotions represent the firm’s US offices in New York, Palo Alto, and Houston.
