DWF brings on partner from Duane Morris in Singapore
DWF has hired Babita Ambekar as a partner in the firm’s Singapore office. Ambekar joins from Duane Morris & Selvam, where she worked as special counsel, overseeing the firm’s Japan and India practice groups. She has been with Duane Morris & Selvam since 2011, and previously worked at Andersen Legal, having begun her career in the firm’s London office. DWF has operated in Singapore since launching its office there in 2017 with a team from legacy Eversheds. Ambekar will be DWF’s fourth partner in the city.
