Jeroen Ouwehand elected Clifford Chance senior partner

Amsterdam-based Jeroen Ouwehand has been elected as Clifford Chance’s next senior partner, representing the first senior partner based outside of London in the firm’s history. Ouwehand currently serves as Amsterdam head and oversees the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice throughout continental Europe. He will replace Malcolm Sweeting, who currently serves as senior partner. According to Sweeting, Ouwehand’s international experience will be an asset as he takes on the position of senior partner.
