Gowling WLG to retain best friend relationship with Naik Naik & Company in India

Following the integration of Gowling WLG’s UK and Canada arms, the firm has confirmed that it will retain its “best friend” relationship with Naik Naik & Company, an Indian firm. The agreement initially involved Gowling’s UK arm, and now extends to the expanded company’s Canadian arm as well. The relationship was established in 2010, followed by a formal arrangement three years later. According to Gowling WLG (UK) chairman Andrew Witts, the move will help to solidify the relationship between the firms in the India legal market.
