QC silk round appoints 4 solicitors for 2018
The latest round of Queen’s Counsel (QC) appointments includes four solicitor-advocates, a slight decrease compared to the 2017 round, in which five solicitors took silk. The 2018 solicitors include Dipen Sabharwal and Aloke Ray of White & Case, Mark Levy of Allen & Overy, and Stephen Fietta of boutique firm Fietta. The total number of appointments was 108, down from last year’s figure of 119. The appointments included 78 men and 30 women, while 13 appointees were non-white.
