CMS reveals increased profits in 2017/18

The newly combined CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang has released its financial results for 2017/18, revealing an increase in profits. Operating profit came in at £160m, an increase of 30% over the three firms’ previous-year profits, which made up a combined £122.5m in 2016/17. The firm’s profits rose despite merger costs of approximately £50m. Managing partner Stephen Millar said the firm will take 50% of the costs in 2019, after having taken the other 50% last year. The firm’s UK LLP includes 25 offices, which had a combined turnover of £517.6m.
