Two Ashurst partners depart for BCLP and Macfarlanes

Two Ashurst partners have exited the firm, with one heading to Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and one to Macfarlanes. Simon Beddow, who served as managing partner of Ashurst’s London office, has joined BCLP. He spent 21 years at Ashurst, having headed up the London office since 2016. Robert Ogilvy Watson previously served as corporate head at Ashurst, and has left the firm to join Macfarlanes.
