Clifford Chance to lay off 80 lawyers in London

Clifford Chance has launched a redundancy program that will lead to 70 to 80 London lawyers losing their jobs. The move will put nearly one in 10 of Clifford Chance’s City lawyers under threat. Lawyers across all practice areas will be affected. The firm also asked its 400 equity partners for an average of £100,000 to raise more than £40 million for the firm.
