Cadwalader loses insurance partner and lays off nine more associates

Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft is set to law off nine associates in the US. According to reports, six associates will have to leave the firm's New York office and three will be affected in Charlotte. The firm has also been hit by the departure of another partner. Clifford Schoenberg, the chair of its insurance and reinsurance department, has left to join Mayer Brown.
