Freshfields named offcial law firm of the 2012 Olympics

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has won the high-profile appointment as the"official legal adviser" for the 2012 London Olympics. The Magic Circle firm will providing legal services at no cost to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) on a variety of areas such as property, employment and sponsorship rights. According to reports Freshfields has paid a small cash sum for the deal.
