Freshfields asks trainees to delay start date

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has asked some of its trainees to push back their start dates in a bid to “even out” the size of its intakes. Several trainees scheduled to join the firm in August 2010 have been asked to defer the start date of their training contract to February 2011, writes The Lawyer, quoting a spokesperson of the firm.
