UK Firms' chances in Asia not helped by new Free Trade Agreement
The new Free Trade Agreement between the EU and South Korea would not necessarily provide great prospects for UK firms to open in Asia. As many Korea practice group members in UK firms are actually US qualified, they would be precluded from practicing Korean law in Korea under proposed "foreign legal consultant" legislation recently passed there.
