Participation by Continental in Star Alliance to be reviewed by European Commission

Continental Airlines' plan to coordinate flights with airlines belonging to the group known as Star Alliance will be reviewed by the European Commission. The airline expects that the investigation will have the same outcome as that which resulted from the US Department of Transportation investigation, specifically, that the measure would be temporarily approved and antitrust immunity would apply.
