Older partners also being hit by global economic downturn

April 28, 2009 While numerous reports have discussed the impact on associates at major firms of the global economic downturn, recruiters report that partners, and particularly older partners, are also a target of layoffs. They may not be as readily let go as associates, but many older partners are thought not to bill the same number of hours as their younger counterparts.
