Dechert launches in Hong Kong

Dechert has launched an office in Hong Kong, taking a former M&A partner from Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker. Basil Hwang only joined Paul Hastings last October from O’Melveny & Myers, where he was counsel. He is launching Dechert’s new office with one local associate and three lawyers from the firm’s international network.
