About 10,000 lawyers --- more than one in ten of the 83,000 privately employed solicitors in the UK --- could lose their jobs, writes The Times, citing recruiters, consultants and senior law firm partners. Layed off lawyers will have a hard time finding new jobs even as the economy emerges from the recession.
