Lovells enters alliance with Indian law firm Phoenix Legal

Lovells is the latest UK firm to tie up with a local Indian player, preparing for a possible market opening. Phoenix, which has five lawyers in Mumbai and 10 in Delhi, was founded in 2008 by three former Trilegal partners Abhishek Saxena, Saket Shukla and Sawant Singh and former Kochhar & Co partner Manjula Chawla.
