Morgan Lewis cancels 2010 summer associate program

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, one of the few law firms that actually increased the number of people in its summer associate program in 2009, has completely canceled its 2010 program. The news comes after fhe firm informed this year's summer associates that they will not be offered permanent positions until the fall of 2011, according to The Recorder. Morgan Lewis has more than 1,300 lawyers. In 2008, it had 81 summer associates, and in 2009 the number went up to 105.
