DLA names UK litigation chief as new Manchester managing partner
DLA Piper's UK head of litigation and regulation David Gray has been named as the firm's new Manchester managing partner, with current incumbent Simon Woolley set to retire from the firm. Gray will take over the reigns in Manchester on 1 November, when Woolley retires from the firm after almost three years in the role of office managing partner and a total of 16 years at the firm. Gray will retain his role as UK head of litigation and regulation in addition to his new responsibilities. Woolley, whose next move is currently unclear, commented: "This was not an easy decision, but I felt that now is the time to pursue other business challenges."
